Indonesia Facility
The purpose of the Indonesia Facility is to contribute to sustainable development in Indonesia through human resources development activities in order to promote stability and security in social, economic and ecological sense. Furthermore, the facility intends to promote the climate for sustainable investment.
The Indonesia Facility is implemented by the EVD (Agency for International Business and Cooperation) on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands (Development Cooperation).
A project must be carried out through an international partnership. The partnership preferably consists of one Dutch and one Indonesian knowledge institute. Dutch companies can only participate in cooperation with a Dutch knowledge institute. (Semi) government institutions may contribute expertise to the partnership but may not themselves be an applicant.
Proposals can be submitted for the following sectors:
- Good governance
- Education
- Agriculture
- Water management
- Infrastructure
- Environment
- Sustainable investment climate
The requested grand must not exceed 80 percent of the total project costs with a maximum of 600.000 Euro. Projects carried out within the context of the Indonesia Facility must have a minimum duration of one year and a maximum of three years. The project costs must exceed the minimum amount of 125.000 Euro. The yearly available budget for the Indonesia Facility will be EUR 3.6 million until 31 December 2011.
Deadline for submission INDF proposals 2009 to the EVD is 19 August 2009, 15.00 hours Dutch time.
